Topic – Free Consultation Services offered by VOSH

The Virginia Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH) presentation aims to provide a description of the purpose and scope of the services provided by the VOSH on-site consultation program. The main goal of this free service is to help employers better understand and voluntarily comply with the Virginia Occupational Safety and Health standards. This program helps employers identify and correct potential safety and health hazards as well as potential violations of VOSH regulations without having any penalties or fines assessed. The service is funded by state and federal grants and is free to the employer.

The On-site Consultation service provides Safety and Health Walk-Through Surveys, training, and program assistance to help you to develop safety and health programs that will prevent injuries and illnesses by eliminating and controlling hazards. In addition, the VOSH consultants will present the top three hazards observed during on-site consultation visits.
