Topic Cintas Tour & NFPA Discussion

Please join us in touring the Cintas’ VPP certified production facility in Chester on May 16 from 11 am – 1 pm.  We will have a tour of the facility and enjoy a catered lunch while we have a discussion on NFPA 70E.  This lunch will have a 25-person limit so register now to reserve your spot. The cost is $15 for this event.

We will also hold a vote at this meeting for new Colonial Virginia ASSP Chapter officers.  You will receive a separate communication on candidates and the voting process.

Join us Tuesday, June 4nd at 5:15 (or when you can get there) as the Richmond Flying Squirrels take on the Altoona Curve. We encourage everyone to bring family and friends as we celebrate the end of our 2023-2024 Chapter Year. Also the end of the school year!!!!

The barbecue starts at 5:30 in the Cross Timbers Roofing Party Pavilion (with hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue, cookies, soft drinks, etc.). The cost is $25 for this event.

We encourage you to park on the right field side ($8 to park), and you can enter the pavilion without entering the stadium. All purchases at the venue are cashless now including parking. The game will start at 6:30 pm.

As we finish the Chapter Year, we will take a few minutes and have the official Officer Installation for the year 2024-2025.

It is Mardi Gras night at the Diamond so dress colorfully or wear your reflector vests (our dear departed friend John Meola would love that).

Fun Fact: The Curve aren’t named for a baseball curveball but for a train track. The Curve are a minor league affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
